Welcome to Sanescere!

Sanescere - sah-ne-ske-re in Latin, or anglicised as sah-ne-sia - means to heal, in the sense of oneself getting better - to heal the Self.

That was the intent of the original Usui's system of healing, now called Reiki, which focused on personal and spiritual development.

I believe in taking care of the wellness of the Self, before taking care of others.  Assuming responsibility for self-care is crucial in the awakening of the spiritual Self. When you have created the intention to accept the power of healing yourself, you raise your own energy level, enabling you to become an instrument for healing others.  This will remain the focus across all levels of my Reiki teachings.

Now, let me introduce myself.

I'm a Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing, with a Diploma in Professional Counselling, and certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

The personal experiences that have led me on the path of growth, both personal and spiritual, have straddled two countries, and across many religions and cultures - a rich cauldron of awareness to which I'm continually adding life's ingredients.

The journey that has led me to commit myself to providing a range of healing services for client, including medical patients and the general community on a voluntary basis, has been long, at times difficult, often filled with humour and laughter, with constant challenges and lessons that were learnt and fully appreciated - usually in hindsight!  As I continue to walk along this path I hope to meet you along the way.
